Jasminum auriculatum

Did you know?

The name ‘auriculatum’ means ‘with small ears’, referring to the tiny lateral leaflets (under a quarter of the terminal leaflet, rarely over 4 mm) at the base of the leaf, which is simple or trifoliate. It is native to drier regions from the north-west Himalaya and Nepal to Sri Lanka, which makes it a natural fit for Gujarat.
